Hi May!

Hello Everyone!  

It’s May! 

It is the month of my birthday! 

(I could have just written” it’s my birthday month”, but I wanted it to rhyme with may!!! ) Covers face*. No apologies.  It’s the 24th of this month though, so don’t forget! Don’t you dare! (Does evil grin*)

To the main point, I try not to go unnecessary  personal  when it comes to blogging, but sometimes it is neccesary. 

My life right now seems good for someone my age, but the over thinking perfectionist that I am is greatly dissatisfied in some eerie way with where I am. It’s not a “comparison is the thief of joy matter ” rather, it’s a “I always want more out of life ” matter. 

I am grateful of course, I would just rather be farther ahead. That being said!  Let me state that I am happy. Very happy! 

There is a lot of good and bad in our world of today and I made a decision yesterday night that I am going to take extra time and effort to be a creator of good because I believe that if everyone did that;  then the world would be a better place.The world pours out reasons to make you sad, that is why you have to have an internal generating system of joy!!! 

Mine is the holy spirit! Well,  and plenty mangoes..I hope there are no side effects of mango overconsumption. I love mangoes and it is the mango season here! Mangoes are still growing… How bad can the world be? 

Anyways,  I want to focus on the good stuff happening in my life.  IT IS MY LIFE AFTER ALL SAID AND DONE and yours is yours too after all said and written.

There is a song that says :

“Many are dying, many are perishing; whatever I am now it is by your grace.. “

You may think that you life is bad, but trust me the fact that you have a brain that had capacity to think about “how bad your life is”  and consider your situation and judge it as “bad” is sufficient reason to be happy. I do not think people in comas are able to think like that. 

Another song goes :

“When upon life’s billows you are tempted,  tossed… When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost, count your many blessings, name them one by one? “

Can someone that knows the song finish it up for me ? 

If you’re reading this, you have eyes and if its being read to you, then you have functioning ears… You also have access to internet. Lol.. That is something good. Some places do not have internet access… Yes. Seriously. 

Remember my “Hey April ” post, I really had great plans for the month with the blog and other respects in my life, but April did not go as planned, partly due to laziness and also because “Things don’t always go as planned! Get over yourself.”

Food is one reason to be happy, even when you don’t have access to it! 

I looooove yam in pepper soup! Lord, does it work wonders on my taste buds! Wo, Life is good!! 

I am not giving up on my love theme of the month and I have decided to extend it to this month, because I think love is important! SO THE THEME OF MAY IS LOVE! God is love, I love God, so I love Love! 

I hope by May 24th  this year, I would have gotten better with God because I think that is what is most important in life and I think, everyone should prioritize God.
