Hello! 

Happy New Month!

Have you ever waited for something – Like waited for it and prayed for and talked about it. 

Do you know how good it would feel when you finally get it? 

This is how I feel about April… I am overjoyed, absolutely exhilarated, super excited, totally thrilled, exceedingly delighted about this month and No it is not my birthday month!  May is (Don’t  forget ) but April is a special month why?  YOU ASK?  because like my mum would say “I know that I know that I know” that April is going to be a great month… I’m in love with what God has in stock for me this April. 
Okay… So  a quick Background Into The Month of April! 

–April is the fourth month of the year in then Gregorian calendar , the fifth in the early Julian and the first month to have the length of 30 days.April is commonly associated with the season of spring in parts of the Northern Hemisphere and autumn in parts of the Southern Hemisphere, where it is the seasonal equivalent to October in the Northern Hemisphere and vice versa.

SO WHAT’S UP?  

Well, here at Bimidiah’s Musings, this month of April is our Month of love!!  Regardless of what April May stand to elsewhere, it stands for love on this blog.  So our April (not February ) is our love themed month… I sought out some sort of authority for this asides personal reasons and I found some. 

Some Authority  :

Since some of the Roman months were named in honor of divinities, and as April was sacred to the goddess Venus – Venus embodies sex , love, beauty, enticement, seduction, and persuasive female charm among the community of immortal gods; in Latin orthography,her name is indistinguishable from the Latin noun venus (“sexual love” and “sexual desire”), from which it derives

Some Clarity :
I am a believer;  a Christian, so I don’t believe in Venus or worship – I believe in Jesus Christ, and that he is the Son Of God who died for my sins and ressurected-  But the reference to Venus here, is just to show that people have connected April to Love before me and it’s not novel

More importantly!  April is month of Easter Celebration !  There are arguments as to whether or not Easter is a proper Christian celebration; However the case may be – the bible speaks of the death and resurrection of Christ and this period has been chosen to celebrate this occurence that changed the world and I am doing that- To me, there is no  greater expression of love than this

Point is : April at Bimidiah’s Musings is Love themed for so many reasons and so posts would be connected, related to Love – Romantic, Agape, brotherly, Eros, relationships, Break up, marraige, weddings, sex, courtship, dating : everything that comes to mind when you hear love : From poems, to stories,to diary sessions to random posts-
